Despite the fact that in Turkey there are practically no restrictions on check-in based on gender, there are still a number of hotels where you may still not be checked in.
This is called "hotel policy". It is caused by the behavior of men towards female vacationers. So if you are traveling alone (and even if you are traveling with a male friend), some hotels may refuse you.
