✔️ To enter Sri Lanka, you must obtain an Entry Travel Authorization (ETA) in advance.

You can apply for an Entry Travel Authorization (ETA) yourself on the website http://www.eta.gov.lk/ or through the tour operator KOMPAS.
The cost of an ETA with a tour is $60.
The cost of an ETA without a tour is $70.
Children under 11.99 years old receive a visa free of charge. Tour operator KOMPAS (pre-issued electronic ETA) costs $10 per person.

A tourist ETA is issued for a single entry and is valid for 30 days. Your passport must be valid for at least six months (180 days) after the end of your trip.

We strongly recommend applying for an electronic visa before your arrival in the country, as this option may not be available upon arrival.

✔️ Required documents for Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA):

To apply for an ETA for Sri Lanka, a high-quality scan of your passport is required. Attach the document through your personal account, under "Documents."
Each passport must be signed with the last name and first name in Latin (e.g., IVANOV IVAN passport). File size limit: no more than 900 KB. (sample passport)
- Visa applications must be submitted no later than 2 business days before arrival.
- Visa fees are non-refundable if the application has already been processed.

A free visa regime is being introduced for citizens of China, India, Indonesia, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia and Japan.

1. To obtain a free ETA, the tourist must obtain it before arriving in Sri Lanka.
2. Touroperator KOMPAS services (pre-arranged entry permit (ETA)) for citizens of 7 countries - $10 per person.
