Visas

Last updated: 19.06.2025

When entering Malaysia, you do not need a visa if your stay in the country does not exceed 30 days.

To enter the country, you need a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the end of your trip to Malaysia.

At the border at the point of arrival, you must fill out an immigration card (you must keep it until you leave the country!), which indicates: full name, date and place of birth, citizenship, profession, permanent residence address, passport number and by whom it was issued, the point of departure from the country, as well as the visa number, by whom it was issued and the date of its issue, if any. You must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry, round-trip tickets (with a closed date). You will also need to confirm that you have sufficient funds for the entire period of your stay in the country (but not less than $500). There is no visa fee upon entry and no stamps will be placed in your passport.

The simplified entry procedure may be denied to women who are 6 months or more pregnant, as well as to people whose appearance and behavior contradict generally accepted norms.
