Smoking is only allowed in specially equipped places. Smoking in public places is strictly prohibited. Violation will result in a fine.
This law also applies to hotels: smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
Smoking is also prohibited on beaches outside of designated areas.
✔️ Since 2014, electronic cigarettes have been banned in Thailand (e-cigarettes and iqos). Hookah, like other tobacco products, is banned in Thailand, even in tourist areas.
