✔️ A bit of chronology and facts

Mauritius has been ruled by the Portuguese, Dutch, French and British. However, the island is far from Europe, so they constantly abandoned it. The locals were mostly slaves. They fought for their independence. Only in 1968 did they achieve their goal.

The country's tourism potential is enormous. The authorities understand this and are actively developing this area. The emphasis here is on vacation in an elite atmosphere, so prices for vacations in the southern region of Mauritius are not low. The cost of the flight also has an effect. However, the incredible nature, azure sea and snow-white beaches more than compensate for this.
